Magyar's government probes Orbán foundation funding — Romanowski connection emerges
Hungary's government under Peter Magyar is scrutinising the funding of the Fundamental Rights Centre, which received nearly 3.35 billion forints from Viktor Orbán's cabinet over nine years. According to Hungarian broadcaster RTL, citing Transparency International, the organisation ran a Polish-Hungarian Freedom Institute headed by former Polish Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Romanowski. The case has taken on a Polish-Hungarian dimension.
