India's Unacademy sold to rival upGrad for $206M, 94% below peak valuation
Indian edtech platform Unacademy has been acquired by rival upGrad for $206 million, roughly 94% below its peak valuation. Co-founder and CEO Gaurav Munjal acknowledged the stark decline bluntly: "We raised at a peak, but sold at a fraction of that. I'm not going to dress these facts up."
