NFZ introduces new dental hygiene package for children with minimum visit time

Poland's National Health Fund (NFZ) is launching a new dental hygiene package for children and changing how dental services are billed. The reform comes after reports of preventive visits being charged at over 600 PLN, including claims for removing hard tartar — a procedure extremely rare in children. Specific minimum visit times and new fee rates were not disclosed.
