LATAM Airbus A320 overruns runway at Cascavel airport — passengers evacuated

A LATAM Airlines Airbus A320 overran the runway while landing at Cascavel airport in the western state of Paraná, Brazil, coming to a stop on a grass verge beyond the tarmac. All passengers were evacuated. The crew had circled the airport beforehand, waiting for weather conditions to improve before attempting to land.
