Błaszczak: Polish soldiers should defend Poland, not the Baltic states

Former defence minister Mariusz Błaszczak said Polish soldiers should focus on "defending Poland" when asked whether they should support the Baltic states in the event of a Russian attack. Deputy Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk accused Błaszczak of undermining the foundations of Polish security. The exchange also touched on Poland's obligations under NATO's Article 5.
