Rising gas prices and low fertiliser imports may push up costs in Poland
Expert Arkadiusz Zalewski of the IERiGŻ warns that rising European gas prices, more expensive urea on global markets and record-low imports of nitrogen fertilisers — down around 90% — may push fertiliser prices higher in Poland by year-end. Farmers could face significantly increased production costs as a result.
