Bank levy to bring Polish state budget PLN 7.4bn in 2027

Poland's draft 2027 budget projects nearly PLN 7.4bn in revenue from the bank levy. The finance ministry estimates the current year will yield PLN 7.6bn from the same tax. The special bank levy rate will fall next year, but the corporate income tax rate paid by banks is set to rise, offsetting the change.
