Housing associations to get power to ban short-term rentals like Airbnb

Poland's Ministry of Sport and Tourism has agreed to amendments to the short-term rental law that will allow housing associations and cooperatives to ban nightly rentals in their buildings. The decision will rest with local authorities and residents themselves. The change comes amid growing pressure from residents in tourist cities over the spread of platforms like Airbnb.
