Hungary investigates multimillion grants to think tank linked to Poland's fugitive ex-minister Romanowski

Hungarian authorities have launched an investigation into multimillion-forint grants awarded by Viktor Orbán's government to the Centre for Fundamental Rights think tank. The organisation was linked to Marcin Romanowski, a former Polish deputy justice minister currently sheltering in Hungary. Romanowski is sought by Polish authorities on corruption charges.
