Polish car insurance payouts rose — OC claims reached 6.36 billion zloty in H1

The value of third-party (OC) motor insurance claims paid out reached 6.36 billion zloty at the end of Q2, according to a report by Poland's Insurance Guarantee Fund (UFG). The data shows a clear rise in payouts from both compulsory OC and voluntary AC (comprehensive) policies. Rising repair costs and spare parts prices are among the factors driving the increase.
