Poland's fuel subsidy programme ends — analysts warn of up to PLN 1/litre price rise
Poland's "Ceny Paliwa Niżej" fuel subsidy programme, reinstated for the second half of August, cost the state budget 495 million PLN and has now expired. Fuel market analysts warn that petrol and diesel prices at stations could rise by between several dozen groszy and 1 PLN per litre in early September.
