20 years of blood samples show rising CO2 emissions alter blood chemistry
Researchers from The Kids Research Institute Australia, Curtin University and the Australian National University analysed blood samples collected over 20 years and found that rising atmospheric CO2 levels are linked to measurable changes in several blood chemistry parameters. The study is the first to connect long-term CO2 emission trends with changes in human blood composition.
