Germany bought over 5 trillion złoty in Polish goods since 2005, boosting Poland's economy

Since Poland joined the EU, Germany has purchased over 5 trillion złoty worth of Polish goods. Poland has also benefited from an influx of German capital, job creation and German consumer spending in Poland. Economists estimate that 11–12 percent of Poland's GDP growth since EU accession is attributable to the economic relationship with Germany.
