Harry Edward, Britain's first black Olympic medallist, inducted into England Athletics Hall of Fame
Harry Edward, who won two bronze medals in the 100m and 200m at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics, will be inducted into the England Athletics Hall of Fame at a ceremony in Birmingham in November. Edward is recognised as Britain's first black Olympic medallist and was largely forgotten until recent years. Mo Farah, sprinter Sonia Lannaman and hurdler Shirley Strong will also be honoured.
