Solana fees hit record as validators accelerate SOL inflation cuts

Transaction fees on the Solana network have reached a record high. At the same time, validators have doubled the pace at which they are cutting SOL inflation, meaning less new supply will reach the market each year. The faster cuts also mean validators will earn less for the same amount of work staking the network.
