HBO Max launches in Japan via Prime Video and Hulu from October 1

Warner Bros. Discovery will launch HBO Max in Japan on October 1 as hubs within Amazon Prime Video and Hulu Japan. Subscribers to both platforms will gain access to HBO, Warner Bros., DC Studios and Max Originals content. The lineup includes a new "Harry Potter" HBO original series set to debut at Christmas.
