Poland's open-ended driving licences abolished — 15 million must renew

New EU regulations will abolish open-ended driving licences, replacing them with time-limited documents whose renewal may require proof of fitness to drive. The change will affect around 15 million Polish drivers who currently hold permanent licences. The rules include a lengthy list of health conditions relevant to driving eligibility.
