Poland sets record for renewable energy curtailments after just seven months
By the end of July, the number of forced renewable energy curtailments in Poland had already exceeded the total for the entire previous year. The grid operator orders output reductions when energy supply exceeds current demand. The trend is undermining the financial viability of renewable energy investments.
