Signatures gathered for referendum to recall Częstochowa mayor facing corruption charges

Enough signatures have been collected to hold a referendum on recalling Częstochowa mayor Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk and the city council, according to the National Electoral Office. Matyjaszczyk faces prosecutors' corruption charges and is currently banned from performing his duties and entering the city hall.
