Drivers want tech they can ignore — huge screens and glitchy software frustrate owners

A JD Power survey of 68,084 car owners shows that consumers are increasingly frustrated with large touchscreens and unreliable software in their vehicles. The features rated most positively are those that work seamlessly in the background without requiring driver attention. Despite this, automakers continue to pack ever more technology into new cars.
