"Przez ścianę": Polish film about communist-era prison love starring Dębska and Gierszał

Director Maciej Sobieszczański is filming "Przez ścianę", based on the true story of Wiesława Pajdak and Jerzy Śmiechowski, both arrested in 1947 and held in a communist-era prison on Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw. They fell in love communicating through the wall using Morse code, married in prison six years later, and lived together for 55 years after their release. The film stars Maria Dębska and Jakub Gierszał, with cinematography by Jolanta Dylewska.
