New building permit rules from September — only 35% of Polish municipalities ready

From September, Polish municipalities that have not adopted general zoning plans will be unable to issue new building condition decisions ("wuzetki"). The Ministry of Development and Technology confirmed the deadline has passed, with only around 35% of municipalities having adopted the required plans. Landowners in unprepared municipalities may face significant delays in obtaining building permits.
