John Galliano pulls out of Met Museum exhibit over backlash for 2011 rant

Designer John Galliano has withdrawn from a planned exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art following an uproar over a lengthy offensive tirade he made in 2011, in which he insulted Jewish and Asian people. Galliano issued another apology for the "pain" he caused. The backlash led directly to his decision to pull out of the museum exhibit.
