Polish local governments demand €8bn EU funds for housing — €1.1bn "not enough"
The Union of Polish Cities has called for €8 billion from EU funds to be allocated to social and municipal housing in the 2028–2034 financial framework. Local governments argue that the proposed €1.1 billion falls far short of actual needs, particularly in smaller and medium-sized towns facing the worst housing shortages.
