11-year-old Polish girl drowns in hotel pool in Platanias, Crete

An 11-year-old Polish girl drowned in a hotel swimming pool in the Platanias area of Crete on Sunday. The child was pulled from the water with no signs of life. A witness interviewed by Polsat News said the lifeguard stood paralysed and failed to respond adequately to the emergency.
