Prof. Łętowska: Berek's nomination to Constitutional Tribunal is a poisoned chalice

Constitutional law expert Prof. Ewa Łętowska told OKO.press that Tusk's nomination of Tomasz Berek to the Constitutional Tribunal makes no sense, as Berek cannot restore the court's proper functioning on his own. She predicts President Nawrocki will swear him in as a way of leaving the ruling coalition with an unsolvable problem. Without systemic reform, she argues, the Tribunal will remain dysfunctional.
