Czech billionaire Vohánka invests his fortune in defending democracy

Martin Vohánka, founder of Eurowag and one of the wealthiest Czechs, is investing his personal fortune in defending democracy across Europe. He warns that democracy lacks the emotional attachment and passion needed to defeat rising authoritarianism. As a 14-year-old, he refused to raise his hand when a teacher asked who sympathised with Václav Havel.
