Wujek mine protest continues as miners oppose closure by PGG

A group of miners at the Wujek colliery in Katowice resumed their protest on Monday against the mine's closure by Polska Grupa Górnicza. PGG insists no miner will lose their job and that a state-funded support package is available for all who want it. Despite these assurances, some workers are continuing their demonstration.
