US to triple Patriot missile output with 7-year contracts to GD-OTS and Lockheed Martin
The US Department of Defense has signed two seven-year contracts with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) and Lockheed Martin to significantly boost production of Patriot interceptor missiles. The deals are intended to triple current output of the missiles. The move is aimed at strengthening air defence capabilities for the United States and its allies.
