Polish F-35 flare tender cancelled — no bids received

Poland's Armament Agency has cancelled a tender for self-defence flares for its F-35A Husarz aircraft after no bids were submitted. The flares are used to decoy infrared-guided missiles and are a critical survivability component for the jets. The failed procurement leaves Poland's F-35s without this protective system for the time being.
