India rebuffs Russia's four-year push to expand trade and exports

Since 2022, Russia has repeatedly pressed India to significantly expand exports of food, medicine, equipment and technology to Moscow, but without success. Less than a year ago, Vladimir Putin again urged the Indian government to take steps to address imbalances in bilateral trade and find new areas of cooperation. India has consistently declined to meet Russia's expectations.
