Poland's inflation hits 3.4% in August 2026, above forecasts

Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported a flash estimate of 3.4% inflation for August 2026, above market expectations and just below the National Bank of Poland's upper tolerance threshold of 3.5%. Importantly, the estimate does not yet fully account for the CPN package, suggesting the final figure could be higher.
