Over 15,000 emergency contraception prescriptions issued in first half of summer holidays

Polish pharmacists issued over 15,000 prescriptions for emergency contraception in the first half of the summer holidays, a 15% increase compared to the same period previously. Data from the Centre for e-Health show that the largest group of patients are women aged 19–25, not minors as might be assumed.
