Polish teachers rally in Warsaw, demand pay linked to national average wage

Teachers from the ZNP union rallied in front of the Prime Minister's Chancellery in Warsaw on Monday, demanding fast passage of a citizens' initiative on teacher pay. Protesters want salaries tied to the national average wage. Education Minister Barbara Nowacka met with a delegation of the demonstrators.
