Extreme heat worsens Gaza water crisis as 90% of infrastructure destroyed
Nearly 90% of Gaza's water and sanitation infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed after more than two and a half years of war with Israel, according to UNICEF. Soaring temperatures are turning an already severe water shortage into a deadly humanitarian crisis. Securing drinking water has become a daily life-or-death struggle for Gaza's population.
