Laurie Anderson joins Future Library — her work will be published in 2114

American multimedia artist Laurie Anderson has been selected as the thirteenth contributor to the Future Library project. Her new work will be held in an anthology to be published in 2114, 88 years from now. The paper for the book will come from a tree currently growing in a forest near Oslo. The project was founded by Scottish artist Katie Patterson.
