Sumatra's Mount Sinabung erupts, sending ash column 3,500 metres into the sky

Mount Sinabung on Indonesia's Sumatra island has erupted, sending a column of black ash and smoke 3,500 metres above the mountain's summit. No casualties have been reported. Sinabung is one of Indonesia's most active volcanoes.
