Poland's August inflation hits 3.4%, highest in 14 months

Poland's Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported that inflation in August reached 3.4% year-on-year in a flash estimate. The reading significantly exceeded analyst forecasts and is the highest in 14 months. The figure was released as a preliminary estimate.
