Stanowski caught doing 110 km/h in a built-up area: 3,000 zł fine and driving licence suspended

Journalist and publisher Krzysztof Stanowski was caught driving at 110 km/h through a built-up area in the Świętokrzyskie region. Traffic police issued him a 3,000 zł fine and 13 penalty points; his driving licence will be revoked in three months. Stanowski commented that an income-linked fine — such as 200,000 zł — would have hurt considerably more.
