Russia captures another town on Ukraine's strategic 'fortress belt'

Russian forces have captured Druzhkivka, another town on what is called Ukraine's 'fortress belt' — a strategic corridor linking key towns and cities in eastern Ukraine. The fall of the town brings Russia closer to further strategic hubs along that defensive line. The advance continues a pattern of incremental Russian gains in the region.
