Survivor's pension supplement rises to 25% in January — but not for all

From 1 January, the second benefit within Poland's survivor's pension scheme will increase from 15% to 25%. However, not all eligible widows and widowers will benefit from the rise — some pensioners will be excluded. Currently, recipients receive one full benefit plus 15% of the second.
