Teachers protest outside PM's office over broken pay promises from 2023 and 2024

Teachers gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Chancellery in Warsaw on Monday to remind the government of two unfulfilled promises: a deal signed with the Polish Teachers' Union on 9 October 2023 and a prime ministerial commitment made on 22 November 2024. A citizens' bill on teacher pay rises has not advanced since then. The union is demanding the bill be urgently put to a vote.
