Lublin region slashes TV Republika funding from PLN 2.7 million to under PLN 700,000

The Lublin regional authority (Urząd Marszałkowski Województwa Lubelskiego) has sharply cut its spending on cooperation with TV Republika. Contracts signed by the end of July totalled just under PLN 700,000, compared with over PLN 2.7 million in the same period a year earlier, according to Radio Zet. The cut represents a loss of more than 75% of the broadcaster's income from that source.
