Lviv waste plant, Polish firm and fraud charges: the inside story of the Control Process dispute
While Poland's Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of defrauding Polish firm Control Process during construction of a waste facility in Lviv, Polish prosecutors were simultaneously investigating the same firm for allegedly defrauding Polish companies of 16 million złoty. Ukraine says it was the wronged party and that the affair has been politically exploited. Both the company and Polish politicians have since gone silent on the details.
