Putin and Xi to meet at Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping are set to meet at a Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit. Although the SCO is not officially anti-Western, both leaders have repeatedly used its platform to advance their vision of a new world order, and the meeting signals continued deepening of Moscow-Beijing ties.
