Prof. Motyka: Condemning the Volhynia massacre should be a condition for Ukraine's EU entry

Historian Prof. Grzegorz Motyka argues that Ukraine's reckoning with the Volhynia massacre should be a condition of its EU accession, as historical requirements are imposed on other candidate countries. He says the lack of condemnation of the UPA "effectively means a massive hole in the wall of European values." Motyka insists the dialogue should happen before Ukraine becomes a full EU member.
