S&P to upgrade Poland to developed market; World Bank to end development loans after 2031

Index provider S&P DJI has announced it will reclassify Poland from an emerging market to a developed market. The World Bank has also declared that Poland will no longer need its development loans after 2031. Two further institutional decisions are still needed for full reclassification, but the moves signal growing maturity of the Polish capital market and economy.
