Norway deploys autonomous C-UAS counter-drone system to protect F-35 air base

Norway has activated its first dedicated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) at an air base near Trondheim, where its newly acquired F-35 jets are to be stationed. The system uses a HAL10 launcher supplied by British firm ISS Aerospace and can autonomously deploy up to 10 effectors without human intervention. It is designed to detect, identify and neutralise small drone threats in response to growing operational risks.
