India and Uzbekistan target $5bn trade and long-term uranium supply deal
India and Uzbekistan have agreed to deepen economic ties with a $5 billion trade target, along with cooperation on long-term uranium supplies, critical minerals, defence, digital payments and transport. A new foreign-minister-level mechanism will oversee implementation. The two governments also expanded education ties and regional connectivity links.
