Russia fuel crisis: drone strikes on refineries send petrol prices to record highs

Russian petrol production fell to around 70 percent of domestic demand in late August after drone strikes knocked out several major refineries. Fuel shortages appeared at petrol stations, and regional sales limits were imposed in areas including Yekaterinburg. Prices at the pump hit record highs as a result.
